Olivarez open is a very important tournament for me this year because it’s the tournament that will determine who will be included in the Southeast Asian Junior Championships in Singapore a side tournament of the WTA yearend championships. I was pressured to win this tournament I was seeded #1. But i lost in the finals against Macie Carlos in straight sets 3-6,4-6. I thought I was going to win the title after escaping an upset against #3 seed Sydney Enriquez, it was a tought semis match 6-7(9),6-1,6-4. Still I’m happy to reach the finals after all it’s all I need to clinch the no. 2 spot in the Philippine Team.
