This is my last tournament of the summer season, competing in almost  3 months that started from March is very tiring and I’m really exhausted from all the travels and competition. I’m seeded No. 1 in the 12 and under category and favorite to win the championship. I won my semifinals match against the Palarong Pambansa silver medalist and Gold Medalist in STCAA Angel Fortadez of San Pablo 6-0,6-2 and went on to win the championship against my cousin and teammate Julia Ignacio 6-0,6-0 in the finals.

One of my favorite tournaments in the Junior Tennis circuit. Last year I won the 10 & 12 under title that earned me a spot in the Philippine Team that competed in Malaysia. This time I defended my 12 & under title over Macie Carlos 6-3, 6-2 and opted not to play the 14 girls finals due to heat exhaustion. Always be nice to me Clark Pamganga.

For the first time Gaby won the Championship in both 10 & 12 under category and it’s nice that she won  it here in Milo Clark Angeles as this is her very first tournament outside manila since she started competing in age-group tournaments. She won the title in the 10 under over Jed Bongco 6-3, 6-2 and defeated Anthea Ong for the 12 under title 6-3,6-3.
