Category Tournaments

Another good tournament for Gaby. Although she lost in the semis of the 14 & under category against Arianne Nillasca the no. 1 seed in 3 gruelling sets 6-3,3-6,7-10. She won the 12 & under title over Angelica Alcala 6-0,6-2 and 18 years & under doubles title with cousin Julia Ignacio.

I’m very happy not only in winning the 12 and 14 girls title of the 1st leg of Supertour Junior Tennis Championships but also in winning a match in Supertour. In my 3 attempts in joining Supertour I lost all my matches in the 1st round. Since then I’ve improved a lot but still grateful to the Supertour, It’s my first tournament exposure 2 years ago 🙂 Congrats to all the winners and Congrats to Supertour. I’m very proud to be a Supertour Junior Player.

It’s been 4 months since my last tournament the Philta Boy Leonara Cup last May. I was a bit rusty and nursing an injury I have an ingrown nail on both of my toes that’s why I can’t move easily but I’m making any excuses I lost to Miguel Vicencio the no. 1 rank in the finals of the 10 years and under category where I’m representing Luzon  it was a close 3 set match 1-6,7-5,6-10.
