I need to bounce back after my STCAA defeat this tournament is supposed to be my moral booster but in the end another disappointing loss in the 12 under semis and 14 under finals I had 2 match points in the second set and up 5-2 and 40-15 still didn’t convert. I need to clear my head and focus on my game. I need to train hard and give my best every match.
The 1st PHILTA Boy Leonora Memorial Cup was Gaby’s last tournament of the summer season. It was held at the Rizal Memorial Tennis Center from May 20-26. Gaby ended the season with a Championship in doubles and a runner-up in singles in the 10 under category.
Gaby is through to the 2nd week of Cebuana Lhuillier age-group Manila leg after winning against April Christine Joy Bautista in the first round and Kryshana Brazal in the quarterfinals and will face 2nd seed Sebastian Lhullier in the semi-finals of the 10 years under category. In the 12 under category she is up against top seed Mikeala Vicencio after winning her semis match against Patricia Lim.
